VietnamPlas 2026 to be held in Ho Chi Minh City this September

Plastic and rubber industry professionals will gather in Ho Chi Minh City this September for the 24th Vietnam International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition, set to take place from September 9 to 12 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC). The event, organized by Vinexad National Trade Fair and Advertising JSC and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd., is expected to feature 650 exhibitors across 22,000 square meters. Companies from more than 15 countries and regions will showcase plastics and rubber processing machinery, raw materials, recycling technologies, automation, and smart manufacturing solutions.

Market priorities are shifting toward efficiency and sustainability. The sector is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of around 8 percent from 2026 to 2031. As the industry develops, equipment upgrades, material innovation, and recycling have become key priorities. VietnamPlas 2026 will focus on cost efficiency, material upgrading, and sustainable transformation, offering a platform for international professionals to explore trends and connect with supply chain partners. Organizers note that the India Pavilion will make its debut at VietnamPlas this year, strengthening the international lineup. As the market expands, demand from automotive, electronics, packaging, construction, and consumer goods is driving the industry toward high-performance materials and sustainable solutions.

PetroChina, Yanchang Petroleum, Nam Giang (ExxonMobil), and Calofic Corporation will showcase PE, PP, and other petrochemical raw materials, highlighting Vietnam’s connection to the global supply chain. Solstice, Shanghai Huntsman Corporation, GPC International, and Prahi Global Trading will present specialty materials and high-performance chemical solutions to meet growing demand for advanced applications.

With rising environmental requirements and production costs, plastics and rubber companies are turning to equipment upgrades, smart manufacturing, and recycling to improve efficiency. VietnamPlas 2026 will showcase high-efficiency processing machinery and recycling technologies, with a focus on resource savings and material reuse. Exhibitors like JWELL, Shanghai CMIC, Yizumi, ARBURG, Honzen Union, Hwa Chin, Fu Chun Shin, HTL Tech, Kim Minh Machine, Omipa, Coperion, and Nordson BKG will display injection molding, extrusion, rubber processing, and automation equipment. Meanwhile, Polystar, Lotus Green, and Jiangyin Guibao will focus on plastics recycling and related processing technologies, responding to the push for a circular economy.
