Slash’s Flying Blind World Tour kicks off in the UK with the June 30, 2027, Cardiff Castle show.

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators will headline a major outdoor concert at Cardiff Castle next summer as part of their Flying Blind World Tour. The show is set for Wednesday, June 30, 2027, and it represents the first United Kingdom date on the newly announced itinerary that supports the group’s fifth studio album, Flying Blind, which arrived on 26 February via Gibson Records.

The ensemble consists of the guitarist, vocalist Myles Kennedy, bassist Todd Kerns, drummer Brent Fitz and rhythm guitarist Frank Sidoris, and they have been performing together for fifteen years. This lineup marks the group’s fifteenth year together and their fifth full-length record, a span that has solidified their reputation. Their latest record was captured live at Studio Barbarosa in Florida under the direction of producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette. Recorded largely live with longtime producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette, the 12-track collection was completed in roughly a week, with the band often tracking two songs per day while performing together in the same room, a process that helped preserve the spontaneous energy of their performances.

“It’s a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock ’n’ roll record,” the guitarist said of the collection. “It’s very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw.” The material blends hard-rock power with experimental touches, such as country-influenced hooks. Tracks like Good Time Girl feature talk-box lines and steel-guitar flavors inspired by pioneering guitarist Jimmy Bryant and steel guitarist Speedy West, while Sweet Kill offers riff-driven rock that Slash calls “probably the most ’80s thing I’ve done in a while.” Across its 12 tracks, Flying Blind explores a range of sounds while retaining the band’s hard-rock foundations.

The Flying Blind World Tour launches in April with a Latin-American leg before moving to North America on April 23, then heading to Europe and the United Kingdom. Cardiff’s performance is among the first major acts announced for DEPOT Live at Cardiff Castle, a series produced by DEPOT Live in partnership with Cuffe and Taylor. Other headliners on the bill include Ronan Keating, Jack Savoretti and James Morrison.

DEPOT Live founder Nick Saunders described the lineup as “a truly memorable night,” noting that the guitarist and Kennedy are “undisputed icons of rock.” Tickets for the Cardiff concert become available to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 9 through Ticketmaster.

The partnership between the guitarist and the vocalist dates back to the 2010 solo album, where Kennedy first appeared as a guest singer. Their chemistry evolved into a permanent collaboration, with the guitarist characterising the bond as both musical and personal. This tour and the new album signal the next stage of their long-standing work together.
