Vietnam healthcare expo sparks innovation and deals

Vietnam’s healthcare market continues to expand, fueled by higher demand for services, digital adoption, and rising investment. This growth has attracted international healthcare brands and investors, with trade events like Pharmedi Vietnam providing a key platform for businesses and professionals to connect.
2026 event expects 600 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors
The 2026 edition of Pharmedi Vietnam will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Organizers anticipate over 600 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and territories, covering 12,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event is projected to attract 12,000 trade visitors along with 3,000 hosted buyers.
Participants will display products and technologies in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostic tools, digital health, and rehabilitation solutions. Two co-located exhibitions—Eldercare Expo Vietnam and Ravex—will highlight elderly care and assistive technologies for people with disabilities, expanding the range of solutions available.
Networking and lead generation remain priorities
Pharmedi Vietnam 2026 will focus on business matchmaking through structured programs. A B2B service will arrange one-on-one meetings between exhibitors and trade participants, matching them based on shared business interests. The organizer handles registration, screening, and coordination.
Exhibitors will also use LeadGrab, a new tool for capturing and managing visitor information at booths. The system is designed to simplify lead collection and improve follow-up after the event.
The event will include a Professional Training Programme in collaboration with the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Companies Association. This initiative will update healthcare professionals on industry developments and enhance their skills.

Conferences and buyer initiatives strengthen industry ties
An Industry Conference Series will gather experts, policymakers, and business leaders to discuss trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in healthcare. Separate buyer engagement activities, such as the Hosted Buyer Programme, will target decision-makers and institutions, offering structured opportunities for meetings and partnerships.
A Group Visitors Programme will organize tours for hospitals, medical centers, and clinics, allowing them to explore relevant technologies on display. The approach aims to create direct connections between exhibitors and institutional buyers.
Pharmedi Vietnam has operated for over 21 years, establishing itself as a platform for knowledge exchange and business development in the local healthcare sector.
For international companies, these trade shows often serve as an entry point into Vietnam’s healthcare system. While the market has grown steadily, it remains fragmented, with local providers frequently lacking access to advanced medical technologies. This gap drives demand for imported solutions, particularly in digital health and diagnostic equipment. Events like Pharmedi Vietnam provide direct access to decision-makers, though regulatory approvals and distribution networks can still present hurdles after the exhibition concludes.
The Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre regularly hosts industry events, including Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté Vietnam and the Vietnam ASEAN International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair. Its role as a trade hub reflects Ho Chi Minh City’s increasing importance as a commercial center in Southeast Asia.
