Polarise Unveils European Sovereign AI Cloud for Data Control - sovereign ai cloud
Polarise launched its European Sovereign AI Cloud at NVIDIA GTC Berlin, expanding AI Factories in Germany and Norway.

Polarise unveiled its new Polarise AI Cloud platform at NVIDIA GTC Berlin, expanding its European AI Factories into a full sovereign cloud solution. The offering combines two products: Polarise Rise, an enterprise chatbot assistant, and Polarise Drive, which provides API access to leading open-weight AI models. Both tools let businesses use advanced AI while keeping data under their own control.

The cloud platform builds on Polarise’s existing AI Factories in Germany and Norway, including a deployment in Munich developed with a major European telecom operator. Rather than building new facilities, Polarise repurposes existing buildings and deploys modular AI Pods—self-sufficient data centers that can be operational in months. The Munich hub went live in just six months using this approach.

Sovereign AI Tools for Enterprise Use

Polarise Rise is designed as a business-focused AI chat assistant that keeps all information processed within the company’s secure European infrastructure. It offers three subscription models for enterprises and teams, allowing collaboration without data exposure risks. Polarise Drive gives developers access to top open-weight models like GLM 5.3 and NVIDIA Nemotron through a simple API compatible with the OpenAI SDK, enabling seamless integration of existing applications.

Pricing for Drive uses a pay-per-token structure for transparency. The company plans future enhancements including an Agentic Engine for custom AI agents and expanded tool integrations. Early user Increso, an Italian customer experience firm, uses Drive to power AI agents handling over 10,000 customer service interactions daily through its Inxide platform.

Commitment to Data Control and Compliance

Polarise ensures customer data stays within the EU and avoids exposure to the U.S. CLOUD Act by owning and operating its full infrastructure stack. The company holds ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications, with additional attestations for BSI C5 and SOC 2 Type I and Type II in progress.

“European companies want to use the best AI available, but they should not have to give up control over their data to do it,” said Michel Boutouil, CEO of Polarise. “We built our own AI Factories first. Now we are putting a sovereign cloud layer on top of them. Our customers get the full stack from one European provider – and they don’t pay a premium for sovereignty.”

Early Adopter Increso Praises Compliance with European Standards

Early adopter Increso commends the platform’s alignment with European data protection standards. The Italian customer experience firm highlights the solution’s ability to meet stringent regulatory requirements while maintaining operational efficiency.

“Our clients expect AI agents that are fast, reliable and fully compliant with European data protection rules,” said Marco Modonesi, CTO at Increso. “With Polarise Drive, we run the latest Nemotron models for our agents on European infrastructure, without compromising on performance or on control over our clients’ data. That makes it much easier for us to bring agentic AI into customer service, including data-sensitive industries.”

Performance Powered by NVIDIA Technology

The Polarise AI Cloud runs on NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and uses high-performance servers from NVIDIA partner Kerno, delivering cutting-edge AI capabilities. The platform represents a shift toward infrastructure that treats data centers as AI-native ecosystems rather than generic computing facilities.

This approach differs from traditional cloud providers who often route European customer data through U.S. jurisdictions. Polarise’s model keeps processing entirely within EU borders while maintaining access to the latest AI developments. Visitors to NVIDIA GTC Berlin can see the Polarise AI Cloud in action at booth 3016.
