You’ll develop practical and technical skills that will allow you to work in a range of fields. I think this course is going to make me really job ready because in industry, we would be doing things like making range plans, doing research about target customers and brands that we might be working for. So this is something that I feel like when I do go into the industry and get a job I’m going to feel so much more prepared and so much more confident. I think what’s a little bit challenging for me is that there are so many different sort of areas of fashion. So sort of switching between them is a great opportunity to learn so much about so many different things.

The project that we’ve run this semester has been amazing with the product development students. As the technology evolves, 3D printers will become more accessible to designers and eventually, consumers — these could potentially reshape design and production in the fashion industry entirely.

The National Film Archive of India (NFAI—part of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India), which aims to safeguard the heritage of Indian cinema, preserved Fashion with others directed by Bhandarkar, including Chandni Bar and Page 3 . In the early 2000s, Asian fashion influences became increasingly significant in local and global markets. Countries such as China, Japan, India, and Pakistan have traditionally had large textile industries with a number of rich traditions; though these were often drawn upon by Western designers, Asian clothing styles gained considerable influence in the early- to mid-2000s. Modern Westeners have a vast number of choices in the selection of their clothes. What a person chooses to wear can reflect their personality or interests.
