Mortgage applications elevated 1.eight p.c from one week earlier, based on data from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey for the week ending November 19, 2021. The South accounted for over half of all of the sales in September, accounting for 44 p.c, followed by the Midwest at 23 percent and the West at 21 percent, with the Northeast accounting for less than 12 p.c. The highest sales were seen in the value phase of $250,000 to $500,000.
